An axis is an imaginary line about which a body rotates. Axis yoga is a space, a line in which our bodies can come to find balance – the balance of our minds through a yoga practice, music, meditation, and knowledge of the self.
Axis Yoga aims to establish a secure and imaginative haven where the residents of Haywood County can engage in yoga, fostering an environment that feels like a welcoming home away from home.
Our mission is to provide accessible mind, body, and spirit enrichment at affordable rates for everyone. We strive to integrate into the community by promoting body movement and mindful breathing, actively participating through shared meditative practices.
Witnessing the unity in each individual’s smile and learning their names further solidifies our commitment to being an integral part of the community.

Cosmic Whales Gong Bath & Primal Sound Chanting with Golden Milk Tea
April 19th from 6pm - 7pm
See the beyond galactic whale sounds carry the mind to a place of profound surrender. With our 38 inch mother Tesla gong, embark on a unique journey followed up with reflection, journaling, and sipping golden milk tea to bring comfort and warmth from the inside out.
Primal sound chanting circles are a simple yet potent mantra that aids mental balance and total relaxation. This event is all about relaxing into the moment.

Open Hearts Chanting Circle

May is Mental Health Awareness month! Come out and join this open hearts chanting circle with intention to let go of what no longer serves you and invite in positivity, light, and love. Sat Nam!
Mantra refocuses the mind, helps settle it in a form of active meditation through the repetition of a single word or phrase. The breath comes effortlessly, becoming an unconscious pattern of deep inhalation and exhalation. Mantra gives us the space to calm the mind, promoting deep relaxation, attention, positive mood, and social cohesion. It acts as a power tool to help us be still and go within, helping to ease our stress, anxiety, and depression.
